Frozen Trail lands October 8, and the worst possible strategy is waiting until October 7 to remember you have twenty unfinished things and a pile of currency turning into decorative dust.
Here is the short version of what I am doing before ARC Raiders’ biggest update since launch.

1. Spend your Cred
This one is not theory. Cred expires when Frozen Trail launches. Embark says existing Raider Deck rewards will move into the new reward system and anything already claimed stays yours, but leftover Cred disappears. Use it with Shani or on remaining Raider Deck rewards before October 8.
2. Finish the progression you actually care about
Do not turn the next few weeks into a second job. Finish projects, quests and Expedition goals that give you something useful or that you simply want done. Update 1.45 also changed Expeditions so departing no longer resets your quests automatically. You get the choice now. Civilization survives.

3. Stack useful materials, not random garbage
Frozen Trail is adding deeper progression, an Outpost, new weapons, gadgets and more systems around long-term goals. Nobody outside Embark has the final shopping list yet, so I am not pretending one exact material will suddenly become digital gold. I am keeping flexible crafting resources and clearing obvious junk.
4. Stop grinding like the current map is disappearing
The new map is another place to play, not an eviction notice. Get your inventory clean, your favorite loadouts sorted and your controls where you want them. Then go have fun instead of doing 38 miserable prep raids because somebody on the internet invented homework.
The bigger picture is in our Frozen Trail breakdown, and the latest housekeeping is in our Update 1.45 signal.
