ARC Raiders Is Sending Us Beyond the Mountains and I Already Don’t Trust a Single Footstep
Frozen Trail is taking us beyond the mountains into abandoned villages, factories, research facilities and an observatory, but the phrase that should make every veteran Raider sit upright is threats above and below ground.
That means the comfortable routes, memorized sightlines and little “nobody ever checks this corner” habits are about to become liabilities. Good. ARC Raiders is best when everybody is slightly lost and one suspicious sound turns an entire squad into amateur acoustics engineers.
I want day-one Frozen Trail to feel like Stella Montis during a three-squad standoff: nobody knows who fired first, everybody claims they’re friendly, something mechanical is screaming nearby, and every doorway feels legally suspicious.
