ARC Raiders just fired its last full Live Update before Frozen Trail, and now the clock is loud as hell.
Update 1.45 went live September 8 with Expedition 5, the new Ascending the Mountain Raider Project, the Hornet Hunter set, community rubber ducks, a stack of fixes and one very important warning: this is the final Live Update before October 8. Embark says a smaller update is still coming, but this is the last big pit stop before Frozen Trail.

The stuff that actually matters
Cred expires October 8. Embark is retiring the currency when Frozen Trail launches and replacing the Raider Deck reward setup with a broader system. Anything you already claimed stays yours. Unspent Cred does not. Spend it.
Update 1.45 also reduces Aphelion weapon sway, lets players choose whether an Expedition resets quests instead of doing it automatically, upgrades the game from Unreal Engine 5.3 to 5.7, and adds the Ascending the Mountain project that points Raiders toward whatever the hell is waiting beyond the range.
That is a lot of groundwork for an update that is supposedly the calm before the storm.

Why I care
Frozen Trail is supposed to bring the new frozen map, deeper progression, Outposts, Skill Tree changes, Raider Deck changes, new ARC and a high-level ARC Operation. We already broke that whole mess down in the full Frozen Trail rundown.
So 1.45 is not really the destination. It is Embark clearing the table before October 8. And if the next update is as big as they keep telling us, that table better be damn clean.
