Miami Put Vice City on the Roof. Well, Shit—Now I’m Hyped.

Miami’s Vice City sign is real. A helicopter, an arena roof, and enough GTA hype to get me looking at roofs after work. Here are the receipts.

They used a fucking helicopter to put “Welcome to Vice City” on Miami’s Kaseya Center. Apparently, a normal billboard wasn’t going to cut it.

The Vice City sign in Miami is real. Local 10 reports crews installed the pink-and-white lettering on September 22, 2026, lifting sections onto the arena and securing them to the roof. Actual workers. Actual helicopter. Nobody circling a blurry palm tree and calling it a leak.

I spend enough time on roofs to know most days don’t end with you helping turn Miami into fucking Vice City. Whoever clocked in for that job had a better Tuesday than me.

Vice City sign Miami: what checks out

The location is the Kaseya Center. The installation date is September 22. Those are the facts behind the alert. “Happening now” belonged to the original post; it does not mean crews are still working when you read this.

Where the speculation starts

Before somebody starts counting the letters and predicting a trailer drop: relax, detective. This sign does not establish a new trailer date, a gameplay reveal, or a surprise announcement. Those claims need evidence of their own. A rooftop ain’t a release calendar.

There is also community discussion on Reddit. Treat the comments as fan reactions—not official announcements.

The Maz take: yeah, the advertising got my ass

But am I hyped? Fuck yes. There’s something about seeing Vice City bolted onto an actual building in Miami that gets me. I know it’s advertising. I know exactly what they’re doing.

Apparently it works, because here I am talking about a roof on my own damn time.

You seeing this in person—taking a picture and moving on, or standing there grinning like an idiot? Because I already know which one I’m doing.

Keep digging
